2021 Telluride Film Festival: World Preems for C’mon C’mon, King Richard, Cyrano, Belfast & One Mystery Film

The titles for the 48th edition of the Telluride Film Festival have been unveiled and Peter Hedges’ low-budget zoom drama The Same Storm, Reinaldo Marcus Green’s King Richard, Joe Wright’s Cyrano and Mike Mills’ C’mon C’mon are making their world preems at the fest. They’ll be joined by world preems for Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast, Michael Pearce’s Encounter, Will Sharpe’s The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. Choke-full of documentary films, the fest technically cements the status of major contenders for awards in Pablo Larraín’s Spencer, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut The Lost Daughter and Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog. Before heading off to TIFF, international auteurs such as Céline Sciamma, Mia Hansen-Løve, Asghar Farhadi are part of the international filmmaker guest list.
