China White: Olivia Cooke, Hilary Swank & Jack Reynor are Hooked on Miles Joris-Peyrafitte’s “Mother’s Milk”
Published on
A project that American indie helmer Miles Joris-Peyrafitte has had lingering around pretty much since the time he broke out with his debut film, we find out (via his socials) that production is now complete on his third feature film and he managed to lasso the likes of Olivia Cooke, Hilary Swank and Jack Reynor. Production would have taken place in Albany around late May.
In what could be a revenge thriller, Mother’s Milk sees Cooke play a pregnant, unwed mother fighting against the heroin trade — she joins forces with the mother of her dead boyfriend to track down his killer. Reynor plays a law enforcement type.
Joris-Peyrafitte first landed on the scene with the Sundance preemed As You Are (2016) and followed that up with his sophomore feature Dreamland (2019), a Tribeca Film Festival selection.
